This is our detailed analysis of Communication and Information Management in Healthcare Institutions.
We believe the following aspects are important in full digital transformation of healthcare institutions with emergency, inpatient (medical, surgical, obstetrics, paediatrics and mental health) and outpatient care.
Our team members are from different backgrounds with knowledge and experience in institutional healthcare, public and private care provision, community-based care, preventive care, digital health, health administration/management and clinical governance, safety & quality, and information technology. They have been involved in research and digital health innovations in different countries in the world and are currently based in Australia which has one of the best healthcare systems in the world.
With the above context, at the beginning of our venture, we did a comprehensive analysis from the research and experience of our expert team. This gave us the platform to plan the way forward and fill the growing needs in digital health aspects.
The above diagram shows the components which should be included in a mature electronic medical record (EMR) covering almost all routine activities related to health information management in healthcare organisations. If an organisation is focused on implementing an EMR with a higher maturity level (such as EMRAM 6/7), it is important to consider all of these aspects. In other words that would help the care providers to ensure safe and higher-quality care provision through modern digital health tools. Most of these components can be automated from a single system or multiple systems having a backbone EMR as the central system. In the latter it needs seamless integration with other peripheral systems focused on specific activities.
Thus, in our approach, we utilised this background work to lay the foundation for our revolutionary digital health platform, which works as an EMR backbone collating health information from different sources. This can facilitate organisations to achieve safe care with higher standards while reaching higher maturity in EMR implementation. Our target is to provide these facilities to our clients at a comparatively low cost.
This model is used for EMR maturity assessment.
